What is LIFE Camp?
In a world where it is difficult to disconnect from the busyness of daily life and social media, LIFE Camp offers a refreshing take on what it means to be present with others, try new experiences, and grow closer to God. Wake up each morning and spend time with God by learning new songs and worshiping with your fellow campers followed by some time with your cabin group. Each afternoon, try something new by participating in our activity workshops like tie dye, poetry, outdoor adventuring, swing dancing, board games, learning to play the ukulele and more. Located in the beautiful Northern Michigan wilderness, you can swim, kayak, walk trails, try new sports and activities all while building your faith and understanding God's grace and peace. In this safe and inviting setting, each camper, whether lifelong churchgoers or those just starting their faith journey, can explore themes relevant to them; recent topics include the many diverse ways to worship and grow in faith as well as how labels given by ourselves and others can change your life. Most importantly, campers will talk away with new 'family'; lifelong friends that will always be there to support them no matter where life's path may lead. Disconnect from the everyday; discover something new; grow in your faith. Join us at LIFE Camp and bring a friend too!
Where does camp take place?
LIFE Camp is facilitated by the Lake Louise Community Christian Camp as a part of their
summer-long overnight camping experiences for young people. Located off Thumb Lake Road in Boyne Falls, Michigan, Lake Louise is accredited by the American Camp Association (ACA) and has been facilitating camps since 1935. While attending LIFE Camp, campers are housed in beautifully designed and furnished cabins (complete with wall AC units and 2 private bathrooms per cabin) all nestled in the woods in such a way to encourage community building. With the addition of a newly renovated waterfront, athletic sports field, and several locations to meet in groups large and small, Lake Louise is the perfect setting for LIFE Camp.

Camp opened me up to a world that I didn't even know existed.
Camp is a home away from home. Camp means family. It's a place where I can be genuinely me without fear or judgement from anybody else.
I've never experienced a place more accepting and beautiful. This place is truly Heaven on Earth.
